EB 5 Program:
Riverside County has championed the EB-5 Program and has led the charge in prompting the USCIS to expedite the processing of these projects so that investment may happen in a quicker and more efficient fashion. Riverside County has been a strong supporter of the program and has even implemented it throughout the county, principally for its economic benefits.

Thanks to the investments made possible by the EB-5 Program, the Office of Foreign Trade is tracking 40 EB-5 projects in “Targeted Employment Areas,” that when completed will represent over $ 906,000,000 in invested dollars and produce over 12,000 jobs countywide. One of the newer EB-5 projects that started in 2016 is a $30 million, 5 story extended stay hotel in the City of Riverside. Other new projects this year included pizza restaurants, day care centers, wineries, resorts, and senior living centers.
