The Economic Development Agency’s (EDA) Demographics Unit collects, tabulates, analyzes, disseminates, and publishes data relative to industry and workforce development. The Demographics Unit assist business, education, government; non-profit organizations, and the public make informed decisions.

The EDA is the affiliate of the California Department of Finance State Data Center and through the Demographics Unit provides assistance to data users in accessing United States Census Bureau data.
