Development Opportunities

The Thermal area provides a substantial opportunity for long term industrial development on the approximately 1,600 acres of land in the northeasterly corner of the project area. This part, generally bounded by Harrison Street, the Desert Resorts Regional Airport, Elmore Street and the northerly boundary of the project area, provides good transportation via Highway 111, the major arterial highway serving the area, and the Southern Pacific Railroad. Large, flat parcels in this sector are ready for development.
