East Blythe Home

The East Blythe Community Sub-Area contains approximately 1,500 acres, generally located along Interstate 10 between the Blythe city limits and the California/Arizona border. The entire Redevelopment Project Area lies within the sphere of influence of the city of Blythe, which agrees with county-designated land uses for the area. The western portion of the project area is adjacent to the city of Blythe and is developed with commercial and residential uses. A large part of the project area is now being used for agricultural purposes.

The project area is accessible from the Interstate 10 and straddles Hobsonway, a major east/west arterial in Blythe. There are two freeway interchanges within the area, including one at Intake Boulevard and one at the Marina.
