Mead Valley Home

The Mead Valley Community Sub-Area is comprised of approximately 2,500 acres located west of the Interstate 215. Although the project area is technically contiguous, it consists of two distinct areas including industrial properties adjacent to Interstate 215 and a large area of residential and minor commercial uses west of Day Street.

The eastern portion of the project area is included within the sphere of influence of the city of Perris, which has long-term interest in annexing this area. This portion is served by both Interstate 215 and the Atcheson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad. Another key feature of the area is March Air Reserve Base, which is approximately two miles north of the project area. The County of Riverside and the city of Perris agree that the easterly portion of the project area should be developed for industrial use to complement the proposed development in a City of Perris redevelopment project located north and east of Mead Valley.
